Stephan Lando (1991, Paris) is an architect and designer based in Italy and Switzerland. Through his work, he uses space, matter and images to magnify sensations and physical experience, creating a connection between the human body, empty space and dense matter.
Lando graduated in architecture from the Accademia di Architettura in Mendrisio, Switzerland. In 2018, following his graduation, he has coedited ‘Defining Criteria’ (Quart Verlag, 2018) a book of interviews and images with architects and artists. He has worked in the architectural practices of Christian Kerez in Zurich and Boston, Go Hasegawa in Tokyo, and currently teaches at the ETH Zurich at the Chair of Architectural Design of Anne Holtrop.
